I studied analog photography and was influenced by the work of Mary Ellen Mark, James Natchwey, Robert Mapplethorpe, John Hoagland and Eugene Richards. After photo school many of my colleagues went overseas to cover the conflict in Bosnia while I focused on Central America, primarily post war El Salvador.
My photography ranges from portraiture and glamour to documentary and analog experimental. The key to good photography is not the camera, but the lens, knowledge of lighting, getting close to your subject and creating a vision that is unique and far away from others. Feel free to contact me for a shoot.
